Black edging

Has anyone done anything to make the aluminum sides darker or black? I know they have the stickers that you can put on the sides but they dont stick to the aluminum very well. Only thing I thot about was maybe a permanent marker. I'm sure there's someone out there that tried that! Did it work? I know not on the buttons but how bout everything else?

I have no idea but have a question.....why would you want to make them black?? Why not just try a black case?

I would be worried about it effecting the antenna's capability of receiving/sending....

I have a black case but the parts where the aluminum isn't covered stands out a lot. Not like I'm real worried bout it. Just wondered if anyone had tried.

Do not use a marker, I haven't tried it but I can promise it will not stick. It will clog the antenna and you will get horrible service. If you have taken your iPhone apart, then I recommend buying a black aluminum side, and replacing the silver one. If you have not completely taken your phone apart, and don't feel comfortable doing it, stick with the silver side. If you haven't taken it apart and want to, there are some very helpful YouTube videos that can guide you step by step taking it apart and replacing parts.
