AT&T IMessage Question

So im traveling overseas and i was wondering how imessage worked. Will i be charged $$ for IMessage txting overseas. If not is there a way to turn off all communication like i dont want any phone calls to come in or txts from people without ios5 while im over seas. Ill be on a wifi connection 24/7 while im there.

PS. Im on an iphone 4 with AT&T

Turn off the cellular. Settings>general>network

If anyone iMessages you it will come through and you won't get calls

And if im not on wifi for a lil and then i get onto a wifi connection all the msgs will just pop through at once?
