Apps close randomly in use

Just bought an iPhone this past weekend through verizon (iPhone 4, 3G). Again the problem I'm having is that I'll open an app or Internet browser and it will just randomly close with out rhyme or reason (atleast to me). Just wondering if here's a fix to this or what.

That shouldn't be happening at all. Hold the sleep button down until the screen shows a power down slider. Slide it. Then wait for the spinning circle in the middle to disappear. Once it has hold the sleep button till the Apple Logo appears. Release and allow the phone to reboot. The use it as normal to see if the issue is gone.

Yea I let my phone die last night and it went away, not sure what that was about. Thanks for the help.
