Apps after update

Many of my apps did not come through update. I did sync before update. But guess I did something wrong.
Once I re install from app store will the auto sync with iCloud? How can I see apps on iCloud?

To see the apps on iCloud go to App Store/click updates/then you'll see purchased with an arrow/click on it and it shows you what you've downloaded. Even gives you options to see what is on your phone and what isn't (like what you've downloaded and purposely removed)

This worked yesterday. "All" showed that were on iPhone and what used to be installed. Those had button for "install". Now the "all" and "not on iPhone" are they. Same and show the iCloud symbol. What does this mean?

Same problem here with purchased apps on Verizon iPhone.
