We've seen that Apple's iOS updates have been gaining popularity, as more people care about having a virgin operating system, than a Jailbroken one. While installations of these updates have been increasing all around the world, it seems the quality and number of bugs have surged as well.

On Thursday, Apple released the public version of iOS 8.4.1, nearly a month after its initial beta release. The new firmware contains bug fixes aplenty, mostly directed towards Apple Music.

Apple Music seems to be a fantastic service, which is a still a newborn. It takes Apple, or any company for that matter, quite some time to fix bugs in new software. Releasing iOS 8.4.1 was a necessary step to fix the kinks in the fruit company's music streaming service.

Here are the full release notes for iOS 8.4.1:
  • Resolves issues that could prevent turning on iCloud Music Library
  • Resolves an issue that hides added music because Apple Music was set to show offline music only
  • Provides a way to add songs to a new playlist if there aren’t any playlists to choose from
  • Resolves an issue that may show different artwork for an album on other devices
  • Resolves several issues for artists while posting to Connect
  • Fixes an issue where tapping Love doesn’t work as expected while listening to Beats 1
While we may enjoy Apple Music, this update isn't for everybody. iOS 8.4.1 unfortunately patches the exploits used in the TaiG Jailbreak. Good news is for those who may have updated is that Apple is still signing iOS 8.4, so downgrading is still possible for a few days.

Fortunately, the Jailbreak world isn't how it used to be when it took several months for one to be released. New developers have joined the movement, as well as old, and Jailbreaks seem to be releasing very soon after a new firmware is released.
