Apple is set to open its fourth Apple Store in Hong Kong on Thursday, July 30, at 9 a.m., according to an announcement posted on its retail website, writes AppleInsider today. The three-storey Canton Road store is set to be one of the largest of its type in Asia.
Even though it’s not yet open, the store is currently taking reservations for Apple Camp workshops.
On Wednesday Apple added an entry for the store to its Hong Kong website, as well as a photo of the site, which is currently covered with a very tasteful construction barricade. The temporary store front was first unveiled last week, complete with 3D Apple logo and a wave pattern.
AppleInsider notes that while it was widely predicted that Apple would indeed be opening a fourth store in Hong Kong, it was thought that the location would be the busy Tsim Sha Tsui shopping district, but instead the new store is located in a quieter location across from the Harbour City mall.
