Apple mobile device wasnt did not start.

Hi guys, i recently got this message everytime i try to conect my iphone to itunes, is this a normal message? can anyone help me with this? everytime i try to conect to itunes i get this message "apple mobile device did not start"
Wich basicaly makes me unable to do transfer any music in between my iphone 4S and my laptop/itunes.
