Apple Account Sign In Requested - attempted hacks weekly

Just curious. . . and looking for suggestions -
At least once a week my Iphone SE receives foreign sign in requests. I always select Don't Allow. The next screen prompts me to change my password. I did change it several times, and I use a very robust password, but if I changed it every time I'd go batty. (see attached images)

Is this a common occurrence? Is there a security feature that I need to address?

No, it is not a common occurrence. It may be related to the CNN App you have open. You could try deleting the App and its data and then re-downloading it.

Thanks. I went to that site and it says Yes - At least now I have a direction. It only happens on my iphone, not on any of my other devices.

The screenshot I‘ve removed because of the email address showed that someone tried to login in Manila.

Is the iPhone your only Apple device, or do you use your Apple ID on other devices as well, Len?

If i thought my phone had been compromised, i would restore it to factory settings and set it up again from scratch.
