App updating issue

I have an iPhone 6 running iOS 12.5.4 and have recently had trouble with certain apps updating and then still appearing in the App Store saying update next to them. Will click on them and they update as normal, get about halfway and then just act like they are done but still says update in store. Seems to only be twitter, Netflix, Yelp and eBay. Have tried restarting phone and deleting apps and reinstalling and still nothing. Just updated two other apps today and those worked fine. Also had problems with accuweather late last week. Any help would be great. Thanks.

This is probably because your iPhone 6 cannot support the latest operating system which is required for certain Apps to update their capabilities. There is no solution to this other than acquiring a newer Phone.

The minimum iOS version for the latest twitter app update is iOS 13.4. Netflix requires iOS 14 for the latest version of the app. Yelp and eBay require iOS 11.
