App to connect to surveillance dvr

I need to be able to access my work dvr surveillance system from my iphone 4. Any recommendations? Thanks

I would think that the only way to be able to view the system from your phone is either by a provided app or by the internet which i am not sure apple would be compatible with. Is there a web URL that allows you to view it on a computer?
