Anybody delete their facebook?

Sick of hearing people complain about stupid trivial crap that doesn't matter. Anybody ever delete theirs? What were the repercussions? Did you not get invited to parties anymore? Did your friends still keep in touch with you?

That's why I never got a Facebook account. People would get on my nerves too quick, and by people I mean my family!

I deleted mine 3 years ago. My friends still talk to me (by these amazing things called "phones") , and I still go to parties. Lol!

The only repercussions? Not having to care about a FaceBook page to keep up with. !

I'm debating deleting mine too. I really don't talk to anyone anymore as I moved to a different state. Plus, all I see when I get on are stupid meme pictures and quotes. It's really stupid.

I had my facebook account for a long time but I just never use it, I have the chat set to offline mode and never talk to any one.. only on a rare occasion will I ever login now.. I am more of a twitter user. I dont seek out to delete my fb page because you never know when it comes in handy and some times you get some decent competitions that you never win.. like from top gear for free tickets..where you just have to like the page and hope to win.

I deleted it 4 years ago for two years until the wife wanted to be "married" so I re-activated it. While it was down my life activities weren't affected a single bit. Right now the only reason I'm keeping it around is to get pictures to mom and dad of the little one. At least until I get my sky drive set up to where I feel comfortable sharing with them.

I'm getting sick of FB,that timeline is a nightmare,can't get rid of it,i only keep FB because if i didn't i would never know what my son is doing,i would gladly delete it otherwise.

hey i never thought of deleting my account. Atleast in our busy schedule, we can get updates of our all friends as its not possible for us to talk to each & every friend on regular basis.

I don't go to parties. My friends don't speak to me on or off FaceBook. I only keep it so I have proof that other people lead even more tedious lives than I do.

Deleted mine 2 weeks ago, wednesday it completely wiped and I couldnt be happier. Trying to decide on twitter now. I only use it fir news and sports info.

I didn't delete my fb account. I just haven't logged in for the past few days and couldn't be happier. I keep the account so a couple select friends can message me with the message app. Otherwise I jdgaf about it anymore. I sometimes use twitter but that is dying as well and it only took around 8,000 tweets. This social crap has got everyone hooked like crack. No thanks
