I didn’t have any battery problems with iOS 11.4, as long as I used it, and so did most of our members.

The latest software is 11.4.1, btw.

Any battery drain problems are almost certainly not the result of the iOS update itself as if it were, everybody would experience the battery drain problem. The battery drain in question may well have happened while the iPhone was indexing after the update or the particular settings and usage patterns of the iPhones of the affected phoned contributed to the problem.

That makes sense. When my SE is running smoothly, I’m a bit paranoid about updates.

I’m still running 11.2 and it’s doing well. Perhaps I’ll stay put.

One thing you have to consider is that iOS updates also contain the latest security updates.
