With its new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus devices, Apple has managed to break new sales records. After it has sold more than 70 million iPhone units during the first quarter of the year, there are voices saying that Apple will actually sell more than 50 million units during the second quarter, which could be a new record for this time of the year.

Financial services company UBS Evidence Lab thinks Apple will sell about 51.1 million iPhone units during the second quarter of the year which is more than what most of the Wall Street analysts estimate - about 45 million units. What makes this particularly interesting and worth taking into account is that UBS Evidence Labs has a pretty good track record when it comes to estimating iPhone sales.

The factors which contributed to such impressive sales, according to UBS, are increased iPhone sales in China and the successful launch of the Apple Watch.
