When benchmarks for 2014's iPhone 6 and 6 Plus were released, fans were quite disappointed that the two devices only sported 1GB of RAM. Most were expecting Apple would include at least 2GB, but it seems the new iPhones are doing just fine with what they're housing.

Take this report with a grain of salt, but apparently a screenshot showing Geekbench 3 results of an iPhone 6S made its way into the blogosphere.

The screen capture shows an iPhone 6S model referred to as "iPhone8,2", which checks out with recent rumors and leaks. The device is apparently running iOS 9.0 and Apple's next generation A9 processor. Check.

At the bottom is where disappointment hits us right in the feels. Ostensibly, this alleged iPhone 6S is only sporting 1GB or RAM (989MB to be exact). If true, this means that Apple isn't looking to upgrade the memory from last year's iPhone, this year.

Let's keep our fingers crossed for the best...
