This is something Ive been dying to get for a LONG time so excuse me while Im rather excited someone finally did it.
Basically it turns your iphone ipad or ipod into an airplay receiver. There used to be a tweak that did this but i could never get it to work.
May sound crazy to want to do this but its incredibly useful. At work i plug my ipad into a stereo and either run pandora, slacker or itunes match. Its a pain to have to go to the ipad everytime i wanna change songs. This allows me to play the music on my phone and send the audio to the ipad. Now i can pause, skip or adjust sound without moving.
In my house i run apple tvs and xbmc systems in every room for parties so the music plays in every room but in the kitchen theres no airplay receiver. Now i can prop the ipad or iphone on the counter and have it playing in there as well.
Its free and seems to work perfectly.
