Question; What kind of aftermarket headphones will fit the iphone? I have a few brand names in my head, but someone always throws out an option I haven't heard of before, thanks.

Anything w/ a 3.5mm plug will work w/ the iPhone. However, you won't have iPod controls unless you purchase a headphone set specifically made for the iPod/iPhone/iPad.

Some names I can think of (without the iPhone controls are: Bose, Bang and Olufsen, Sennheiser and Sony. They all do some excellent models.

I use a $30ish pair of Kicker headphones... work great.
I purchased a pair of SkullyCandy 50/50 in-ear buds with iPhone controls/mic for $45 bucks. Great headphones.

And these things don't fall out while you're in the gym(Skull Candy) ? The reason I ask is that before I buy any (Money is tight) I don't want something that'll fall out while on the rowing machine, or swinging the weights around.
Don't know much about gyms, but I never had mine fall out. They are supplied with several different size inserts so you can find one that really fits.

They don't fall out of my ears unless I snag something while I'm at the gym.
The only thing that might be an annoyance to you is the light thumping noise you can hear through the headphones when you jog (the cord hitting your body causes this).
This doesn't bother me one bit and I hardly notice it while working out. I know it bothers some and that's why I figured I'd mention it.

Many different SkullCandy models are available at Ross/Marshall's/TJMaxx or other discount stores (USA) for $10-20. Some have iPod controls. As posted above, they come with different size inserts & personally mine have never fallen out while taking the dog for a walk (though I don't go to the gym) aside from a hard accidental tug on the wire.
