But Siri is still in Beta and the feature set will expand.

Thanks for the reply. it is a pity but it looks like most of Europe, africa and asia will not have this feature included when they get iphone 4s. Apple might not include this feature as it is not ready for these markets. I was really hoping for the speech to text function though. If siri is so good then its speech detection algorithm must be quite good.
