hi all, it might be a silly question but why do white iphones 4 and 4s have 2 slots in the front and black iphones only have one?.

The Blacks have it too, it simply blends in.

Top "slot" is the detection system for when the phone is near your face as well as light level.

Second "slot" is your ear speaker.

Ahhhh is it? And here was me leaving the top slot covered over when fitting my slickwrap thinking I didn't need that one. What's the detection near your face mean though? You mean when you move it away it lights back up? Wondered why that didn't work on mine. I'll take that part off my slickwrap now. 😄

that light up otion has stopped working on my ip5 since iOS 5,

i have to shake the phone to both get, and then keep the light on, pia when remote accessing thing's like home voice mail.
