Verizon iPhone can now surf web while talking -- is this new feature?

For some reason, today I tried to surf the web while talking on the phone - it worked!

Is this a new feature? I am certain that I did not hear anything about it, i thought that the VZW network was incapable of this feature.

I have a 4g iPhone with iOS5

Anyone else?

There is no iPhone 4G. There is a 4 and a 4S.

And you were on WiFi while talking on the phone. CDMA does NOT support phone and data on the 3G cellular connection at the same time.
