Problems with disappearing wallpapers!

Hello

I'm new to the forum.

I have a question about wallpapers on my IPhone 4. I had downloaded quite a lot of wallpapers and they automatically went into my Photo Library. I discovered just now that all the downloaded wallpapers are no longer there and my photo library now contains all the photos that are in other folders.

I tried downloading a wallpaper from an app and although it did download, I can't find it anywhere on the device.

How can I rectify this?
