E-mail address was changed so I changed Apple id on ipad and iphone. Could not change icloud id on my iphone after I updated with ios7. i took an ios7 workshop with Verizon and the presenter could not change the icloud id. She suggested resetting the phone. Any other suggestions?

Can you delete/sign out of your iCloud account in Settings.app > iCloud?

No, I cannot delete/sign in because it wants my password. I tried old/new passwords and neither of them work.
