Iphone 4 turns off unless in airplane mode

Hi all,

My iPhone4 keeps shutting down whenever airplane mode is not active.

- When airplane mode is active, the phone remains on and still works.

- When airplane mode is not active, the phone shuts off within minutes.

- If the device plugging into an outlet, it works fine without airplane mode being active.

- If the device is not plugging into an outlet, it shuts down within minutes without airplane mode being active.

I am currently with NET10 and I have a AT&T iphone4.

Please let me know if I can do anything to fix this.

Possibly a hardware issue. See if a restore restore using iTunes resolves the issue. Do not restore your backup just yet after the restore and see how it acts. If it's normal again, then restore the backup and see if the issue is still there
