If your Iphone gets wet..

I have a solutions which I tried:

1. Shake your phone to try to get rid of as much water as possibe
2. Then stick the phone, battery socket facing down in a bowl of uncooked rice.

3. Leave it out in the sun for a few hours and then....

You will have a working phone.

This really happened to me after...lets say an incident in the bathroom.

Any other tried and tested methods welcome (free of course!!)

Turn it off as soon as it gets wet. Take the sim (and battery/memory card out if it's not an iPhone).

Place in a sealed food container half full of dry rice and leave for a day or two...
