if you read a message twice on iMessage, does the time on the read receipt change?

i was messaging someone earlier on imessage and they read my message at about 3pm (i got a read receipt).. but when i checked my imessage on my laptop a few hours later the timestamp had changed to about 6pm, does this mean the person i sent the message to read it twice?
