This type of recipe is wildly popular in my area so I thought I'd post some of my favorites.

My Fudge Marble
My mom used to buy fudge marble ice cream when I was growing up but it's difficult to find in store these days. So, I have found a way to make it myself.

One pint of Haagen-Dazs vanilla ice cream. This brand seems to yield the best results, the creamier the better.

Soften the ice cream in a microwave, about ten seconds. You don't want it melted, just soft enough to work with it. Too much softening changes the taste and texture so you have to work fast.

Add chocolate syrup, not much, just enough to change the taste. Mix the syrup into the vanilla just a little bit, just enough to create a marbled appearance. Too much mixing and you end up with chocolate ice cream.

Re-freeze the ice cream and you'll have the best fudge marble ice cream ever.

Variations:
Add a touch of peppermint extract or orange extract. It may sound weird but they're delicious.

What's your favorite ice cream recipe?
