i phone 3g 8gb what kind of camera

i'll be buying an unlocked verison of this phone.

it will be my first i phone.

on some websites it says 3mp camera others say 2 mp camera. does anyone know which is has and does it have flash?

The iPhone 3G has a 2MP camera while the 3GS has a 3MP camera.

Also note that the iPhone 3G will not be able to upgrade to iOS 5.

iOS 5 is the newest operating system for the iPhone.

Your iPhone will work fine. But as I stated if it is only a 3G and not the 3GS it will not be able to take advantage of the latest update to the Operating System.
