How to update and keep apps

I have a jailbroke 4.2.6 iPhone should I update to 4.2.7. If I do how can I do It and keep my apps?

you have to update using iTunes. once plugged in back up your apps. that's it

Use pkgBackup from cydia to back up your cydia apps and tweaks. Use aptBackup as well to be secure after upgrading your iOS. As for apple stuff you can just back them up using iTunes.
