My iphone is version 4.2.6. I want to update to ios 5. How do i do this? Do i have to update to 4.2.10 first?

When iOS 5 releases you will be prompted to install the update. So no need to upgrade to 4.2.10

Newbie here. Is it over the air update, and do you have to remove jailbreak first. Thanks

When you initially update to iOS5 you will have to do it through iTunes but for any future updates after you're on iOS5 you will be able to do OTA, and yes it will remove your jailbreak.
