How to search for apps?

Im new to cydia and im wondering, how exactly do i search for apps?
all the apps people talk about, how do i find them?

Just click on the "Search" tab and type them in

so ive downloaded 3Gvenice, how do i use it now?
theres nothing on my main screens but it shows its installed.

3Gvenice is a tweak to use Facetime over 3G, you're not going to see any app or anything on your springboard because it's just a tweak not an app.

yes, ive just read that.
but how do i enable it? when i try to start facetime, it still prompts me for wifi connection

i just downloaded absinthe2.0..followed the instruction to the letter said dl complete and installed to phone,backed up phone.everthing looks the same as when i previous backed up and erased all content..i dont see ant new icons(cydia).cant dl cydia from the app store.so did this thing work or not.

I have no experience with 3Gvenice, I use My3G to use FaceTime over 3G.

Try looking in the settings menu. That's where most cydia apps are enabled from

nothing comes up for me when i search. even for bitesms. nothing. im refreshing the changes but not sure if thats working. although i saw in a different post "can not locate package" guess servers are busy or overloaded atm. will try more later but the searching is an issue. ive refreshed and its at packages and done but its still working. not sure if its lagging or what the deal is.
