Leaked document indicates iPhone 8 launch after September 17.JPG

AppleInsider reports today that an internal memo sent to AppleCare employees and leaked by Benjamin Geskin indicates that the new iPhone line-up, including the flagship iPhone 8, will be launched sometime between September 17 and November 4 2017, because the employees have been told that they can't take time off during this period.

“As you know, there are new product announcements and launches in September,” said the memo, adding, “Keep in mind that these dates are subject to change as our support volume expectations fluctuate.”

Meanwhile, MacRumors reports that Japanese website Mac Otakara has posted new images that are claimed to be of an iPhone 8 case. One image shows an iPhone 8 lined up with cases for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, giving a great indication of how the iPhone 8 looks when compared with the current iPhone line up. As you can see, it’s a lot smaller than the iPhone 7 Plus, and a little bigger than the iPhone 7.
