How do I setup the plus 7 to shoot in raw format
I don't see it in the camera settings

You need a camera app that's capable of using that feature. Manual is one of these, just as an example. It's not working with the built in Camera app.

Bought the Manual app, but for the life of me, cannot see how to choose which of the two lenses to use.
I can of course do this in the iPhone camera app
Other than that, the app is great, and am now using dng raw

Contacted the author of the app and he tells me that an update is due and it will allow the choice of lenes

There was an update for the app today. Included was the lens switcher for iPhone 7 Plus.

Yes and it also carries GPS data with the photo now, just like the apple native camera app

It would be nice if when you shootings RAW / DNG that the image was somehow marked as being RAW. I like using the option of saving a .jpg with the RAW so that if I'm satisfied with the picture I can just delete the RAW. All of this is still in its infancy with the iPhone yet . I'm sure it's going to just get better.
