3G locked to at&t ?

Hi,

When i was living in the US, i had 2 3g's with At&t, but since moving back to Aus, the 3g's are pretty much useless. they seem to be locked to at&t.

Is it possible to bring the phones back to an At&t shop to be unlocked?

Anyone know if there is a way to unlock the carrier without jail breaking?

or is jail breaking the only option i got?

Hi Azza,

If you're deciding to go with any of the big carriers (ie Bigpond, Optus, etc..) just ring Support and they will unlock your IPhone without issue for free.
There is no need to jailbreak or run any 3rd party apps.

Let me know what they say
