Yahoo contacts

My iPhone 5 syncs yahoo contacts fine

My wife's iPhone 5 does not
The settings are identical
I even deleted the yahoo account from her phone and then added it again
The contacts populate from yahoo but then won't sync in either direction after that

Anyone have any thoughts on how to fix this?

Make sure that your wife's iPhone Default contact sync account is set to Yahoo. I had a similar problem with my iPhone contacts not syncing to the iCloud. And this sorted it out:

Edit: the above post concerns iCloud but the solution is identical for Yahoo to. Just select "Yahoo" instead of iCloud.
