When will we see the next gen Macbook Pros?

[iDude1]

Now that the iPhone event is behind us, when do you think Apple will release the new generation Macbook Pros?

I've been wondering that, I might be in the market for a new one early next year, Already have a customer for mine when I'm ready.

It could be later this fall.

I'm wondering if Apple will finally discontinue the the 13" MacBook Pro with the non-retina display and optical drive at that time?

I'm thinking they will, I can't see them updating it.

It hasn't been updated since 2012.

I'm thinking we will see big things next year.

I agree that the optical drive is heading for the bin. For starters, it is now two generations behind. UHD disks have been shipping for a while now and Apple did not even attempt to support BluRay.
