Whatsapp chat wallpaper problem

When I try to change whatsapp chat wallpaper no matter which colour it is,it always turns in black n white
How do I fix this problem?

Have you tried deleting the app then do a hard reset (hold home and power button dwn simultaneously until Apple screen appears and release) and reinstall.

That's fine.but if I uninstall the app n reinstall the app.where do I keep the chat backup?

Go into WhatsApp>Chat Settings>ChatBackup...Back up now

It should restore you chat from the backup. If it's an important message in the chat, just take a screenshot

i found out a easy way to deal with this kind of problem
Go to setting -> increase contrast-> turn off darken colors
Pretty simple

I changed my WhatsApp backround to a Matallic Spiral Gold to match my Gold 5s.....Thanks for the idea.
