Video zoom?......thought I have read somewhere.....

Im new to iphone and have the 4s. Is there a way of getting zoom when filming video?

Only way to zoom when recording video with the default camera app is to double tap on the screen to zoom in and double tap again to zoom out. There are several camera apps in the app store however which are capable of doing propper zooming when recording videos on the iPhone.

No the default camera doesn't support pinch/spread gestures or other methods to zoom in/out when recording videos. Only option is to double tap on the screen to full screen the image to be record and double tap again to exit full screen.

Oh dnt worry , camera apps have the options to zoom in/out when recording video and when recording videos with the default camera app is to double tap on the screen to zoom in and double tap again to zoom out
