Ultra Thin iPhone 5 case

I have used soft case before, but it's really thick and easy to be dusty.

I have recently bought the ultra thin 0.3mm case from Gamezhop and am very happy with using this. The shop offers buy one get one free during new year promotion until end of this month.

How will this case hold if the iphone is dropped? I'm a case nut and I go through them like crazy. Currently I have a clear case that won't do much of anything if the phone is dropped. Also this case I currently have wont stop the screen from getting scratched if I put it face down. Will this Gamezhop case elevate the screen so it won't get scratched?
