Twitter - WHat am I doing wrong?

I have the twitter app from twitter on my 5. Pulls up my twitter profile yet gives me an error message when I try to do anything within the application. I've tried deleting the application and then downloading it again. Same thing.

Am I doing something wrong?

Is there something I'm missing?

Is there another App to get me on twitter? I'm trying to follow my kids... you know, be a good parent and be cool.

its sounds stupid and don't take it the wrong way, are you signed in?.. i use tweetbot for my iphone 5, great app works great.

Update is available for that app. Don't know if that will help you or not.

I was having an issue too, I used a back-up from my old phone via iTunes when I got my new phone. The accounts were already set up but I wasn't getting anything except an error when trying to access them via the app. I had to go to Settings>Twitter and delete them in there and reset them up then all was fine.
