Everybody is looking forward to the upcoming release of the new iPhones and iPads, and it seems that big retailers are looking to depleted the current stock as quickly as possible. Recently, a Walmart spokesperson told the Cnet publication that starting Thursday at 9 a.m. local times, the retailer is dropping the price of the iPhone 5s to $79 and the iPhone 5C to a mere 97 cents.
Previously, the iPhone 5s was available for $99 and the 5c was $29. So, the 5s was discounted by $20 and the 5c by slightly more than $28. The discounts are available to all colors of the smartphones but you'll still need to sign a two-year contract on AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, or US Cellular.
