Test calls on verizon phone

I have a verizon iphone i need to test out to make sure the antennea is working. Is there a way i can test it out without going up to verizon?

Is it showing cellular bars in the top left corner? If it is showing one or more, it is working.

BTW, the reason that simple test is valid is because by US federal law all cell phones, regardless of service contract. have to be able to dial 911. Which means the cellular radio, as long as the phone is not in airplane mode, has to be on and functional at all times.

Well im trying to test the in call antennea to make sure im heard on the other end

The "in call" antenna is the symbol in the top left. IF you have 1 or more bars, the antenna works. If there are 0 bars then you might have an issue.

Its showing the bars in the upper left hand corner but when i made a call the person on the other end couldnt hear me

That isn't an antenna issue. You're troubleshooting the wrong thing. I would suggest you troubleshoot the bottom mic.
