9to5 Mac reports today that T-Mobile has just launched a new subscription-based TV service for iPhone in the US, offering packages of TV shows as well as Live and On Demand programmes. A similar app has already been available on Android since 2010, and now it’s the turn of the iPhone! For starters, T-Mobile will give you 30 days of completely free access to some of the networks, including FOX News, Associated Press, Saturday Morning TV, and Campus Insiders. However, if you want to access more channels, you’ll have to pay $12.99 per month, and for that sum you’ll have access to the likes of On Demand Primetime and Reality shows from ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC, Kids channels such as the Disney Channel, plus the likes of Discovery and Animal Planet. You’ll also get extra discounts when you buy 90-day or 180-day subscriptions. 9to5 Mac says that there will also be premium content packs available to buy from between $5.99 and $7.99 per month. The app also works on iPad and iPod touch, but is optimised for iPhone 5.[/FONT]
