Earlier today, T-Mobile CEO John Legere took the stage at the company's Un-Carrier X event. During the event, Legere announced that the carrier would be doubling data plans to all of its Simple Choice customers, free of charge.

Although having a larger data cap is always welcome, T-Mobile is looking to give its customers even more data with free video streaming. The third-largest carrier partnered up with popular streaming websites like Hulu, Netflix and many others. The partnership allows T-Mobile users to stream videos from partnered services, without having the data used count towards monthly data usage.

The catch is when streaming over LTE, videos streamed in apps like Netflix will be limited to 480p, or DVD-quality, video. Even though the new Binge-On service has a minor caveat, folks who don't have unlimited data with T-Mobile will surely be happy.
