Switching from att 3gs iphone to verizon 4 iphone

Ok here goes How can I save my contacts without retyping them all back in and my ringtones and music I have in Itunes?I 'm pretty much a newbie to all of this. I do know that one one phone can be associated with itunes, so how can I go around all this Help please.

Sync your 3GS then copy all your contacts into Microsoft Outlook then open up your iTunes and check the box that syncs the contacts into your iPhone from Outlook
