Stop enabling hotspot while connecting to mac via usb cable

Hi,

I installed Mountain Lion on my macbook pro and now each time I connect my iphone to the macbook via usb cable, a hotspot on the iphone is enabled.
Is there a way to disable hotspot with the usb cable and enable it only via bluetooth?

Settings,General,Network,Personal Hotspot.Select it on,then wi-fi and bluetooth option will appear.

The only thing I see there is a wifi password. No other options.
