Sharing photos to WhatsApp

I’m having a problem with my iPhone 13 pro max and WhatsApp.
When I share images on WhatsApp my images are reduced to 1024x768 instead of the usual 1600x1200.
The Media Upload Quality in WhatsApp settings is on ‘best quality’.

Is there a solution please?
