I had the opportunity to send a message via satellite last night and captured the satellite acquisition procedure.
Satellite messaging usually switches on automatically if you have no cellular or wifi connection but if it doesn’t, it can be turned on manually from Settings/Satellite. Note that Satellite only appears in the list of settings if no other option is available.
