Tapulous is adding yet another big name to its roster of signature Tap Tap Revenge games. Following on from the likes of Lady Ga Ga, Metallica and The Black Eyed Peas, rockers Nickelback now have their own dedicated official Nickleback Revenge music game on iPhone/iPod touch. The new game features 11 of Nickelback's most popular songs, including Rockstar, This Afternoon, How You Remind Me and If Today Was Your Last Day.
A premium version of Tapulous' addictive music rhythm game, Nickelback Revenge sets gameplay to the band's biggest hits and integrates Nickelback graphics and content. The game also includes a Bluetooth-based battle mode, which allows players to wirelessly challenge their friends to point-by-point battles. To celebrate the launch, Tapulous and Roadrunner Records, Nickelback's music label, are running a special promotion, in which the first 2,500 fans to download the game will receive 25 in-game credits that they can put towards the purchase of more music
, plus the chance to win a Gibson Flying V signed by the band.
Fans will also have the chance to "Outplay Nickelback", or beat the band members' highest in-game scores. Players who best Chad, lead guitarist Ryan Peake, bassist Mike Kroeger and/or drummer Daniel Adair will be entered into a weekly draw, with prizes including Dark Horse tour books and premium earphones.
