Return to factory settings

I have an JB iPhone 4S running ios 7.0.6. Something went wrong when I tried to sync a tone using Xilisoft iPhone Transfer for Mac (or maybe something was already wrong and I didn't realize it). Anyway, iTunes will not recognize my phone and tells me to restore it to factory settings. I know I will lose my daata (mostly backed up) and my JB, but what ios will be restored to?

The iOS that your iPhone will be upgraded to is iOS 8.1. If you have a recent backup, you won't lose your settings and such.
