Hi all new user here.
I’m an archery enthusiast and I came across a plan for a magnetic chronograph for measuring arrow speed.
it’s been done with a laptop computer.
When the arrow is shot through 2 wire coils made up of one continuous strand of wire that is then connected to the 2 channels on a 3.5mm input jack
The coils create a magnetic field . And the recording software interprets the metal point on the arrow going though the coils as sound.
Where I am having trouble is getting any recording app to record using an external microphone connected to my phones lighting port.
That is then tied to the chronographs wires to record the magnetic blips.
Any ideas would be much appreciated.
