Facebook fans, rejoice! The jailbreak stronghold Cydia just got a new, very interesting addition for you. We’re talking about Facebook for Action Menu – a new tweak published this week which enables users to directly send texts on Facebook, via the option menu in iOS 6.

Facebook for Action Menu adds a dedicated button in the option menu in iOS alongside the usual ones. The effect is that the copy/paste menu gains the functionality of quickly posting highlighted text taken from websites such as Google Search, Wikipedia, Dictionary and Google Translate directly unto Facebook.

The tweak has been designed by the iOS developer Merlin. He has used the deep Facebook integration that became available in iOS 6.0, so the feat apparently works as the Tweet function in the Action Menu. Users can also add their personal comments to the copied text and then by pressing the Post button share it with the entire world.
The tweak can be enabled/disables via the Setting app following the following path: Settings -> Action Menu -> Facebook.

You will probably be interested to know that Facebook for Action Menu can be downloaded off Cydia free of charge from the BigBoss repository. Users interested in using the software will have to own a jailbroken iOS device running iOS 6 or later.
